So today I installed Adobe Photoshop Cs4. Adobe really changed the look of Photoshop for this release. They removed the title bar from the top of the window and integrated the minimize, maximize, and close buttons into the menu bar. This not only looks much cleaner but it also gives you a bit more workspace. For people who use smaller monitors, that could be a really good improvement. So far I have not used it much other than to make the thumbnail and screenshot for this post. Save for web looks like it has some new options but works the same as before.
If you get the "extended" version of Photoshop, you will have 3d modeling support and gpu powered accelleration. Gpu accelleration leverages the power of your graphics card(s) to render images and models faster. I have never created an image that has really slowed down my computer but for people doing high end graphics, I am sure this will be an awesome feature.
